Empowering people to connect to nature

The Chattahoochee Nature Center wanted visitors to understand how they fit into the web of life dependent on the health of the Chattahoochee Watershed.

AldrichPears Asssociates worked closely with the Center to develop an interpretive schematic design to support this idea. Programming spaces focus on the Chattahoochee River and include unique hands-on learning experiences that empower visitors to positively impact their local environments.

Oversized cattail stalks, a river habitat at eye-level, and a walkthrough beaver dam immerse visitors in the world of the Chattahoochee while they learn to conserve, rethink and restore.
