Denali National Park Visitor Center

The new Denali National Park Visitor Center was designed to show the Denali that few see, virtually transporting visitors to inaccessible places and experiences.

A feature film, Heartbeats of Denali, is a key part of the design solution, creating strong emotional connections to this magnificent place. In the galleries, hands-on exhibits are set in an impressionistic collage of taiga, tundra and alpine scenes. These exhibits show visitors how to see nature in new ways, providing unexpected views of the expected and teaching observation skills that can be instantly applied in the park outside.
