Linking visitors and scientists

The Hatfield Marine Science Center is a major research facility at Oregon State University. AldrichPears worked closely with the client team to design exhibits and develop programs for the Center's expanded public wing, which introduces visitors to marine research activities.

Funded by NASA, interactive exhibits and entertaining educational programs incorporate changing technologies (particularly remote sensing) and continually feature new research. Aquariums show marine life in the context of current scientific inquiry, and link visitors' experience of the coast with the scientists' work.
