Space Center Houston

The Space Center Houston's mission is to interpret space exploration events.

The theater's pre-show provides visitors with an immersive experience that mimics a launch at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The new multi-screen video presentation is dramatically underscored with a blast of simulated exhaust smoke and body-shaking sound effects. Streamlined modern finishes and equipment bring new life to the Space Center's aged mission control set, which offers a backdrop to the live component of the theater presentations.
