Isaac Marshall named as principal

AldrichPears Associates is pleased to announce the appointment of Isaac Marshall as principal. Phil Aldrich and Ron Pears, co-founding principals of APA, welcome Isaac to his new role.

Isaac has extensive experience facilitating and designing visitor experiences for a broad range of clients. During his tenure at APA, Isaac has gained significant insight into the principles of sustainable design and creating visitor experiences that engage and inspire audiences to learn and take action. He has contributed to the ongoing development of these core values at APA and to the work the firm does on projects around the world.

"Truly sustainable projects require a close examination of a broad range of issues", says the newly minted principal. "They take a long-term view, incorporating economic and fiscal aspects, cultural and community considerations, audience engagement and education and, of course, environmental concerns. There are many elements that need to be worked through to make a project viable and responsible to the community it serves."

That thinking is evident in two major projects that Isaac is currently leading. The Desert Living Center in Las Vegas is a multi-faceted facility that will focus on educating visitors on sustainable living in a desert environment. Closer to home, Isaac is also taking a lead role in the planning and development of the National Maritime Centre, a proposed waterfront landmark in North Vancouver that will celebrate Canada's maritime heritage on the Pacific and Arctic Oceans. Both projects have taken extensive measures to ensure high standards of sustainability and relevancy to the audiences and communities they serve.
