Exploring the universe

Located on the northern Adriatic coast of Italy, Oltremare is a large marine theme park dedicated to showcasing the animal life of the Adriatic and the Po River Valley in extraordinary and dramatic ways.

AldrichPears Associates did planning and design of the outdoor environments, including a long interpretive walk through a number of cultural villages and natural zones, and two major indoor attractions.

In Darwin, visitors explore a prehistoric living landscape in a large glazed conservatory. In Pianeta Terra (Planet Earth), visitors witness the formation of the universe in a large, walk-through multi-media show featuring a 3-D film accented with several 4-D events.
