Woodland Park Zoo: Zoomazium

Zoomazium builds connections between kids and nature. This indoor hall is filled with opportunities for nature-themed play, all designed to inspire children under the age of eight to go outside and explore their own backyards.

Abstracted natural environments include a climbing mountain, an enormous strangler fig and a desert watering hole. Children are encouraged to seek out secret features and are rewarded for their discoveries. Hints about where to look for cool things come from guides, docents and friends.
